Last week whilst exhibiting at the Naidex National event at the NEC, the ‘P’ Pod won the Naidex Style Award.
The Naidex Style Awards showcases products that are not only functional but also cutting edge, attractive and aesthetically pleasing. Therefore, this award celebrates the product exhibited at the show which best displays these qualities. The Naidex National 2012 Style Award was judged by Paralympic swimmer, Matt Whorwood, who spent several hours walking around the show looking for stylish products and came back with the ‘P’ Pod from Specialised Orthotic Services as his winner.
A Specialised Orthotic Services representative said: “It is wonderful to be recognised for having such a stylish product. We aim to show that products can be functional and look good at the same time, so it is great to know what we achieve that with the ‘P’ Pod!”
Liz Virgo, Event Director commented, “We are thrilled for the exhibitors who have won this year’s awards at Naidex National. We were really pleased to bring the Style Award back for a second year and hope that it shows visitors that living with a disability does not have to mean compromising on looking good, as the ‘P’ Pod clearly demonstrates.
