Founded in 1980, Specialised Orthotic Services has been a leader in the field of Special Seating for over 30 years and continues to progress and develop the scope of it's services to the seating and mobility market.

SOS was established by its current Managing Director, Gordon McQuilton MBE.

The objective was to establish a company that could provide an expert clinical service for the assessment and manufacture of Special Seating equipment and this service is now regularly used by many Wheelchair Centres.

By working closely with NHS professionals within a structured framework of special seating clinics distributed throughout the UK, SOS are able to maintain a continuous service for this specialised market.

Effective solutions to a wide range of Special Seating needs are provided on a daily basis by SOS and our team of highly trained Clinic Managers.
