Customer Services Advisor – maternity cover
£18,000 pro rata
Specialised Orthotic Services is one of the UK’s leading providers of specialist seating, wheelchairs, mobility and positioning products. We are a British manufacturer based in Tutbury, Staffordshire offering seating services and community products worldwide.
We are looking for an experienced Customer Services Advisor/Co-ordinator to join our team to cover for a 9-12 month maternity leave. You’ll be working within our Community team, who work with clients in their home environments, advising on and supplying bespoke and standard products.
You’ll take incoming calls from our customers, and you’ll book diary appointments for our Community team, liaising with them regularly to ensure they have all of the information they need. You’ll build close working relationships with our Product Demonstrators, and will action any tasks on their daily reports.
You’ll help to organise demonstrations for groups of Occupational Therapists, from initial contact stage through to confirming arrangements and booking into the Demonstrators diaries.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Experience of working within an administrative capacity within a customer service environment
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent computer skills
- A great telephone manner
- A helpful disposition
- The ability to build relationships quickly

The role is full time, from 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. We are looking for the successful applicant to join us mid-May for a 9-12 month contract.
