Specialised Orthotic Services manufactures a number of hybrid products aimed at individuals who have complex needs with regards to posture and mobility. We offer a bespoke service and everything is manufactured to order at our factory in Staffordshire, using state of the art equipment.
We work with qualified and skilled clinicians who use specialised scanning equipment to assess size and posture, and advise on products to best suit the patient’s needs.
We have an exciting opportunity to join the team in a brand new role, Community Product Demonstrator. We have two vacancies, one for the ‘North’ of the UK, and one for the ‘South’.
In this role, you’ll demonstrate ‘SOS’ Community products to patients, parents, carers, NHS representatives, Occupational Therapists and anyone else involved in the care of a disabled child or adult, in your allocated territory.
You’ll work as a trusted and integral team member reporting directly to the Senior Clinician of the Community team. You’ll work within an allocated territory to attend pre-arranged diary appointments to demonstrate our Community products and to make initial assessment based on the patient needs, and advise which SOS product will be suitable. You’ll also work alongside our Marketing and Business Development teams to uncover new routes to market for our products.
You’ll attend exhibitions and product demonstrations in conjunction with the Sales Director.
You’ll be home based with travel around the UK within the designated territory and to HQ in Tutbury when required. Hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm with flexibility when the business needs it. Overnight business stays will be required at times.
We offer a competitive salary with bonus agreed upon KPI’s. A company vehicle will also be provided.
You will need:
- Demonstrable sales skills from the healthcare industry
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent communication, listening and presentation skills
