About the Fashion and Textile Children’s Charity
The FTCC have been supporting children of UK fashion and textile families for over 165 years. They believe no fashion or textile family should struggle financially to meet their child’s basic needs. That’s why their grants provide essential items for hundreds of children every year. Like a proper bed to sleep in, school uniform and shoes which fit or specialist equipment to support a child’s health needs.

The Staffordshire Chamber Business Awards took place on Thursday, 4 July to celebrate the achievements and outstanding performance of businesses across the region.
We were shortlisted for three categories at this year’s Awards and we are delighted as well as proud to report that SOS did extremely well in all three categories
Manufacturer of the Year – ‘highly commended’
The judges looked at all aspects of the manufacturing process including product design, testing, development, production, marketing, sales and overall business performance relating to a new product or product range, or an existing product that continues to lead the way within its field.
Environment/Low Carbon Award – ‘finalists’
This award recognised organisations that demonstrated a proactive approach to protecting the environment and reducing their carbon footprint. Judges looked for innovative solutions that had had a dramatic impact in terms of energy efficiency, resource management and environmental impact.
Science, Technology & Innovation Award –
WINNERS
