Glider Mobile
To allow Special Seating Systems to be conveniently used indoors, in the home or school environment, SOS have designed the Glider Indoor Mobility Base.
Available in Glider ‘Uni’ or Glider ‘Swing’ versions, these lightweight attractive mobile chassis give a functional alternative for the use of Special Seating when used indoors.
Utilising SOS interfacing systems allows Special Seating equipment to be easily located on to the Glider Mobile Frames. Optional extras such as trays give additional flexibility and functional accommodation.
With Tilt-in-Space facility and smooth castor action “Glider Mobiles” allow easy movement around indoor environments.

The Glider ‘UNI’ Base gives additional flexibility with an integral Tilt in Space mechanism to give easy adjustment to the degree of recline on the seat system.
Using the Quick-Loc interface gives quick installation in and out of the chassis for seating equipment.

A foot operated pedal or optional powered actuator activates the ‘Swing’ mechanism allowing easy movement from low to high positions with the ability to hold at any level for convenient placement of the equipment for a wide range of functional activities.
Locking castors secure the chassis when stationary to assist with movement of the height adjustment from low to high settings.
